FAQ

What online platforms does Aspire use?

Aspire uses DVUSD approved platforms, including Canvas as our Learning Mangagement System, and Google, among others. View the District Tech Rich website for additional information.

Canvas or another DVUSD site isn't loading. What should I do?

First, check to ensure that you do not have internet or connectivity issues. You can run an internet speed test to determine the speed of your internet connection.
Check your location. Some DVUSD sites do not work overseas.
If internet connection is not the issue, email your teacher with a screenshot of what is happening when you try to log on to Canvas or another site.

A program or tool within my Canvas class isn't working correctly. What should I do?

Check to ensure that you are accessing the tool correctly. Look for resources within the teacher's Canvas class, such as log-in instructions. Make sure that you are accessing the tool using your DVUSD credentials.
Clear your internet browser cache and cookies. View these step-by-step instructions on how to do so.
Ensure that you are accessing Canvas through a browser on your District-issued Chromebook. Some sites, such as Canvas, do not work correctly using an iPad. If you do not have a Chromebook, ensure that you are using a Google Chrome browser.
Make sure that your Chromebook or Internet browser is up to date. Click to view instructions on how to update your Chromebook or Chrome browser.
If the issue persists, take a screenshot and message/email your teacher describing the problem. Your teacher should respond within 24 hours.
