Class Expectations

Students must use time wisely, be organized, be self-directed, and be willing to use new modes of communication and learning. Be willing to put in the needed time, read the text carefully, and actively participate in online class activities.

Grading Procedures: A standard grading scale will be used as follows: 90-100% = A, 80-89% = B, 70-79% = C, 60-69% = D Below 60% = F Check Power School often for a current grade

Software Development & App Design
This course introduces to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. More than a traditional introduction to programming, it is a rigorous, engaging, and approachable course that explores many of the foundational ideas of computing so all students understand how these concepts are transforming the world we live in.

Program Description |
The Business Management instructional program prepares students to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization. Students who successfully complete the Business Management program’s coherent sequence of instruction will develop an in-depth understanding of the business and financial management practices needed for large and small enterprises. The Business Management program includes instruction in management theory, project management, human resources management and behavior, Business Management and other quantitative methods, purchasing and logistics, organization and production, marketing, and business decision-making. Throughout the Business Management instructional program, students learn and practice valuable real-world skills using industry standard office productivity software to manage business functions. |

Media Productions
In today’s marketplace, students need to be prepared to market themselves and their skills. Any advantage that students have to help themselves secure a place in a quality work environment is vital. Video Production will teach students employability skills as applied to the video production field. This course will also provide an understanding of the TV and film production industries, which includes aspects of story and script development, pre-production storyboarding, production, audio, cinematography, and finally, post-production editing and visual effects.
