About the Teacher

Mrs. Rachel Rutan

Rachel Rutan, Rachel.Rutan@dvusd.org, attended Syracuse University in northern New York, where she earned her bachelors degree in geology, and her masters degree in secondary science education. She began her teaching career here in Arizona in 2016, and joined the Deer Valley District in 2019 teaching Earth science at Boudler Creek high school for 4 years. She has now joined the team at Aspire to continue teaching Earth science.
